One of our core competencies: efficient strength calculation based on innovative calculation models. ISATEC has been analysing and optimising bogies for local trains since 1996. Today, the rail vehicle sector is firmly established within our company. In addition to numerous bogies for driven and moving axles in passenger trains, our field of activity also includes complete cabins, propulsion systems and vehicle chassis.
As an independent development partner, we consistently follow the client's specifications in terms of driving dynamics and design.
Steadily efficient in terms of work approach, and target-oriented when it comes to results: Our designed bogies are compelling due to their higher load capacity, reduced mass and optimised production steps. For long-life dimensioning, we use the program ISACAEP©.
As a matter of course, the work is carried out in direct contact with the manufacturing company, but also with the Federal Railway Authority (e. g. Germany EBA) – which is in charge of approval. ISATEC is certified according to DIN-EN 15085 (formerly DIN 6700) and works closely with EBA assessors.
For improved assessment of varying operating conditions/modes of operation, we develop customer-specific simulation tools and design the components, which are always subject to exceeding mechanical loads, for fatigue strength using the program ISASEP© in accordance with various guidelines.
