Corona meant for most companies: Home office, video conferences and changes of the daily routine. We are therefore particularly proud and happy that the changes could be managed quickly. Even before the lockdown in March 2020, we made sure that all our employees were equipped with technical hardware and software. This enabled a smooth and particularly secure transition - not only in terms of the health of our team, but also in terms of the connection to the server, data access and information of our customers. Internal communication, appointments with customers and cooperating scientists took place via Teams. The new form of communication worked very well right away.
However, to be more responsive to our team's needs and implement possible ideas, we participated together in a workshop moderated by the Techniker Krankenkasse. For the first time in a long time, everyone met live and talked about the home office situation and other wishes for even better cooperation. One wish we will definitely implement is the proposed “virtual coffee machine”. The idea behind the name is very simple: at a certain timeslot there will be a meeting where employees can meet and talk about anything. Just like at the coffee machine in our house.

Through this lively exchange, we have also been able to strengthen our team building and social cooperation. Communication with each other and the expression of ideas is important to us - because we grow together.
