Originally restricted to companies in the city of Aachen, the awards are now presented to innovative enterprises in the city and district of Aachen. At the same time, three new award categories were created: “Founding”, “Growth” and “Manual Trades”. One candidate will be nominated from each category.

Hidden champions of the 21st century – success strategies of unrecognized global market leaders

Thus reads the title of the opening address for the award ceremony delivered by Prof. Dr. Simon. The ceremony was held at the traditional venue in the “Krönungssaal” of the City Hall in Aachen. This year’s award winners are Pro8 GmbH (Erkelenz), GIF Gmbh (Aachen) and Jenniches Treppen (Blankenheim).
