Projects at the upper end of the size scale for ISATEC in the CFD field include, for example, circulating flow in clarifiers, air conditioning in buildings, ring dryers for glutamate and locomotive formations. By coupling the simulation results obtained from a single sub-model (e.g. a computing container), structures consisting of many of these individual units (entire computing centre) can be calculated efficiently.

In a locomotive formation, for example, only one radiator flow is calculated and used in the various locomotives of the formation.
