The topic of energy has for many years been one of our long term-focus areas within the field of energy storage and energy conversion.
After a great deal of preliminary work in the 1990s, we committed ourselves to a major program to develop hydrogen pressure vessels in 2002. The aim was to develop a new generation of 700 bar reservoirs, which enable e.g. a maximum range of fuel cell vehicles and are already in use by many of our clients.
In association with our2-efforts, we have also been working on the series capability of a fuel cell.
In the energy conversion sector, we are pursuing a range of projects focusing on power supply and emergency generators and developing gensets.
In the wind power arena, our projects cover such components as rotors, main shafts, rotor hubs and nacelles. We are currently working on a special electrically adjustable transmission for constant generator speeds/mains frequency.
